Spicy Deviled Eggs

Who doesn't love deviled eggs? Easter is in a week and you know you're bound to have an abundance of beautifully decorated, hard boiled eggs, so why not put them to good use and make some upgraded spicy deviled eggs! Also makes a great appetizer for your guests, or sure to please if you're bringing as a host gift.



Ingredients:

12 medium-hard boiled eggs

3 Tbl Criolla

Salt and Pepper to Taste

1 Tbl Cumin

1 Tbl Coriander

1 Tbl Smoked Paprika

2 Tbl Yellow Mustard

1 Cup Mayonnaise 

Serrano Peppers for garnish

Red Onion for garnish

Cilantro for garnish

Steps:

  1. Cut eggs in half, remove yolks.
  2. Put yolks in a bowl or food processor with Criolla, Salt & pepper, Cumin, Coriander, Smoked Paprika, Mustard, and Mayo. Blend or mix to combine.
  3. Put the yolk mixture in a piping bag or gallon zip lock bag. Cut the tip.
  4. Place your half eggs on a platter and gently pipe the yolk mixture into the dimples.
  5. Garnish with Serrano, Cilantro and Onion. Drip a little extra Criolla over the top for added smokiness and to make it look nice!
  6. Enjoy!
